What this cube is
Forty-eight magnets, MagLev tension and dual adjustment on a Pyraminx, which is as much hardware as MoYu puts into this puzzle. The magnets give each turn a definite stop, the MagLev system keeps the tension stable indefinitely rather than letting springs settle, and the dual adjustment lets you balance the two against each other from outside the puzzle.
The competitive Pyraminx of the range and the one to reach for if your solves are already fast enough that the puzzle is the variable. On an event where the whole solve finishes in a few seconds, a mechanism that behaves identically every time is worth more than one that is theoretically quicker.

From the maker's listing
- Maglev Pyraminx Speed Cube — - Comparing to the regular Pyraminx Speed Cube, the magnets set on the axes and surfaces have magnetism speeding up the cube positioning to accelerate the solve steps for the beginners.
- Adjustable Elasticity — - The Unique Dual Adjusting tools are able to make FIVE Levels of elasticity available in this Pyraminx for you to set the tightness of the axes, making the tension to an ideal level!
- Variable Turning — - This Magnetic Cube assembled with 6 magnetic adjustable edge cubelets. Different level magnetism has different speed effect on positioning. The larger number stands for less magnetism, which provides choices for cubers.
- Sticker-less Shade — - The ABS material makes the Speed Cube different surfaces more obvious during the solve and getting non-slipping hand feel. It is also the materials that has no smell and negative effect for health.

Soo Fun!
This Pyraminx is so satisfying to solve and fidget with. The pieces turn smoothly and click knto place with magnets. Im new to cubing but after needing tutorials for 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 it was incredibly fun to figure this out without any help as it's a little easier. For the price, I have enjoyed Moyu products.
Fast enough for competitors.
Great quality and value for the money. Fast enough for competitions.
falls apart
my son likes this, but i don’t! it falls apart anytime it is dropped & there are SUPER tiny, unsecured magnets inside. i have a toddler in my house and the little magnets make me so nervous because they come out super easily. definitely recommend going with another brand if you have a baby or toddler in the house.
Snappy magnets, good build, great intro to Pyraminx
This is my first time trying a Pyraminx. For context, I started "speedcubing" a few months ago (I put speedcubing in quotes because I don't solve very quickly) and so far I have an RS3M 2021 3x3, an old Gan 2x2, and a Gan mirror cube. I thought it would be fun to try another puzzle and have heard good things about the Moyu Weilong line, plus I really enjoy my maglev RS3M. This pyraminx feels pretty premium. Out of the box the magnets are STRONG and very noticeable, and the puzzle itself is fast - somewhat uncontrol

Great cube
Very fun puzzle, a little easier than the cube
I really enjoyed playing with this pyramid. The pieces slide against each other quite well, I didn't feel the need to make any adjustments. It was pretty neat that it came with the tools though. Perhaps if it loosens up too much I will need to use them. I find that the pyramid shape is much more forgiving than the cube. I never memorized the system to do the cube, so would always get CLOSE to actually finishing it, but never quite pull it off. With this shape, I find that with patience I can solve it without using

What MoYu speed cubes are, in one paragraph
MoYu Culture — also known simply as MoYu — is a Chinese factory in Guangzhou that has been making speed cubes since 2008 and is famous among speedcubers for a tremendous release pace few rivals maintain. Cubing Classroom, generally sold as the MeiLong line, is its budget sub-brand; GuoGuan, SenHuan, MoJue and Cong sit alongside it inside the same group.
The flagship WeiLong is the single most notable example: it is the cube cubers reach for in competition, the one most often on the mat when a world record is set, and every upgrade carries real technology — a magnet count you can read off the box, MagLev tension, a ball core, a smoother and faster feel — rather than new artwork. A collection that began with one 3×3 — the puzzle most people still call a Rubik’s cube — now runs from 2×2 to 15×15, through shape puzzles like the Skewb and the Pyraminx, and into gift sets for beginners.
That is why MoYu stays popular with people who solve fast: big cube or small, the innovation sits in the layers where a solver can feel it, the turn stays stable, and the plastic keeps its look.
