What this cube is
The RS3M line exists to win on value and the V5 SE is its plainest expression. Fifty-five degrees of positive corner cutting and thirty-five of negative means the cube recovers from an imprecise turn rather than stopping dead, and the dual anti-pop feet with the round-square centre design keep pieces in place while you do it. No coating, no ball core, no display box, nothing to pay for twice.
For a beginner this is the cube I would put in the basket. All the money is in the mechanism, the corner cutting is the single property that will take the most seconds off an early solve, and if it turns out speedcubing is not for you then very little has been spent finding out.

What MoYu speed cubes are, in one paragraph
MoYu Culture — also known simply as MoYu — is a Chinese factory in Guangzhou that has been making speed cubes since 2008 and is famous among speedcubers for a tremendous release pace few rivals maintain. Cubing Classroom, generally sold as the MeiLong line, is its budget sub-brand; GuoGuan, SenHuan, MoJue and Cong sit alongside it inside the same group.
