What this cube is
The magnetic MeiLong 6x6 is where most people should start with big cubes. Tuned hidden magnets, a built-in elasticity adjustment system and stickerless ABS, in a chassis light enough that the ten or fifteen minutes a solve takes does not become a wrist exercise. Six layers introduces oriented centres and inner slices without the time commitment of anything larger.
Buy this before anything bigger. The reduction method you learn on a 6x6 scales to every larger cube, so this is the puzzle that tells you whether big cubes are your hobby, and it costs little enough that finding out no is not expensive. If the answer is yes, go to 7x7 next.

Magnetic mechanisms makes for smooth turning
I love how smooth this turns and the magnetic aspect helps for fast turns because they side “click” in place after every turn. Come with a little stand and screwdriver to adjust the tension. I wish I got this one soon: just slightly more expensive than the non-magnetic one but totally worth it. It’s also pretty small for a 6x6 so perfect for taking on the road. Solve time is 10 minutes and 42 seconds. What’s your fastest? This cave made me beat my previous record by over 1 minute!
Love it
Love it. Have had it about a year and it still works great. I love that it is magnetic and clicks into place
Works well
My kids all love this. It's a nice cube that works well and is durable. My three kids all love how much bigger it is. It comes with a stand, though the stand is cheap plastic. It is smooth and fun. It's a good value for the cost.
Another solid addition to my MoYu collection, sticky inner magnets
I owned the 4x4 and 5x5 versions of this cube before purchasing this, (and now the 7x7) and am very fond of them. I like this one a lot, with only one complaint. The magnets on the innermost layers are incredibly strong, bordering on inconvenient to turn. The other layers are much easier and satisfying to turn, it is just the 2 innermost. All in all, very good cube for the price, I am by no means a quick solver, I just enjoy learning how to solve as many different puzzles as I can.
Great.
This was my first 6x6 and I was gladly surprised, the turning is very nice. Right now this takes a lot time to solve, but with such a great cube it’ll be easy to get better.I recommend for the low price.

What MoYu speed cubes are, in one paragraph
MoYu Culture — also known simply as MoYu — is a Chinese factory in Guangzhou that has been making speed cubes since 2008 and is famous among speedcubers for a tremendous release pace few rivals maintain. Cubing Classroom, generally sold as the MeiLong line, is its budget sub-brand; GuoGuan, SenHuan, MoJue and Cong sit alongside it inside the same group.
The flagship WeiLong is the single most notable example: it is the cube cubers reach for in competition, the one most often on the mat when a world record is set, and every upgrade carries real technology — a magnet count you can read off the box, MagLev tension, a ball core, a smoother and faster feel — rather than new artwork. A collection that began with one 3×3 — the puzzle most people still call a Rubik’s cube — now runs from 2×2 to 15×15, through shape puzzles like the Skewb and the Pyraminx, and into gift sets for beginners.
That is why MoYu stays popular with people who solve fast: big cube or small, the innovation sits in the layers where a solver can feel it, the turn stays stable, and the plastic keeps its look.
