What this cube is
The same budget formula scaled to five layers: tuned hidden magnets, adjustable elasticity, stickerless plastic, and a chassis light enough that a long solve does not tire your hands. A 5x5 has more inner slices to keep straight than a 4x4 and no parity to worry about, so magnetic alignment buys you fluency through the middle of the solve rather than protection at the end of it.
A sensible first 5x5 and a perfectly reasonable permanent one. Most people who move on from this cube do so because they want the tracked magnet system of an AoChuang rather than because the MeiLong failed them. Buy it alongside the 4M if you are working up through the big events.

Great cube!
I love the moyu cubes. This 5x5 fits good in my hand, has smooth turning, and the magnets are about perfect for my feel. The finish in the coffee is smooth and clear. Every moyu magnetic cube I purchase comes in ready to go, after I put some time and turns into it, I only have to make minor adjustments to get the exact feel I like. Moyu cubes are my favorite and this one is no exception. Great 5x5, great quality, great price!

Not Quite as Smooth as Some Magnetic Speed Cubes, But Still Good Quality for the Price
My kid loves speed cubes, so I'm always trying to expand our household collection with new sizes and shapes for everyone to play with. This 5x5 stickerless cube was an instant hit. We don't compete or put *too* much stock in timing our speed cube play, but we all appreciate a cube with magnetic tension and smooth movements that allow for super speed if we want. This cube *almost* reaches the mark. The tension is adjustable and the movement is smooth, but it can bind up sometimes. It absolutely doesn't affect genera
Not worth the admittedly cheap price
Im a HUGE fan of twisty puzzles in general and bought thos one to replace a accidently broken 5x5. I am not a speed cuber, i use them mostly as fidget toys, but this is one of the worse twisty puzzles I have ever used: it sticks constantly and is genuinely difficult to turn. It also locks up randomly even when things seem aligned.
Good.
In general the cube is very nice it has great inner layer turning and feels smooth, but I did get lock ups often this isn’t too large of an issue but can be a nuisance at times.
Rubiks style cube no stickers
Great cube for somewhat advanced use

What MoYu speed cubes are, in one paragraph
MoYu Culture — also known simply as MoYu — is a Chinese factory in Guangzhou that has been making speed cubes since 2008 and is famous among speedcubers for a tremendous release pace few rivals maintain. Cubing Classroom, generally sold as the MeiLong line, is its budget sub-brand; GuoGuan, SenHuan, MoJue and Cong sit alongside it inside the same group.
The flagship WeiLong is the single most notable example: it is the cube cubers reach for in competition, the one most often on the mat when a world record is set, and every upgrade carries real technology — a magnet count you can read off the box, MagLev tension, a ball core, a smoother and faster feel — rather than new artwork. A collection that began with one 3×3 — the puzzle most people still call a Rubik’s cube — now runs from 2×2 to 15×15, through shape puzzles like the Skewb and the Pyraminx, and into gift sets for beginners.
That is why MoYu stays popular with people who solve fast: big cube or small, the innovation sits in the layers where a solver can feel it, the turn stays stable, and the plastic keeps its look.
